Vice President Shettima Leads Security Summit in Katsina

On Monday, June 24, 2024, Vice President Kashim Shettima, along with other key stakeholders from the North-West region, arrived at the Presidential Lodge in Katsina State to attend a major security summit.
The summit, aimed at promoting peace and security in the North-West, was held under the leadership of Katsina State Governor, Malam Dikko Umar Radda. The event, organized in collaboration with the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), saw the attendance of North-West governors, former governors, security agency heads, traditional rulers, prominent business figures, and politicians from across the region.
The primary objective of the summit was to discuss strategies to end the persistent security challenges plaguing the region and other parts of the country, which have resulted in significant loss of life and property.
